Mission Accomplished
The mission for 2021 was to create daily. The vehicle was this website. I followed a road to blog daily (“the 2021 Dailies”) but the road led to a highway that was designed for greater things. Dailies; thank you. I am creating more than I ever have. You started this. Mission accomplished.
Freedom
The thing with freedom, the real deal, is that there’s so much of it. That means no need to rush. There’s always more, unless you die of course. Then again, that could be the ultimate freedom!
This Daily comes straight from my journal from Thursday, 18 February 2021. Written at 8pm as the sun went down, sitting outside a piece of paradise at Port Elliot, South Australia.
Creating Memories
Last night more memories were created at a friend’s daughter’s 21st birthday party. I was behind the camera to capture them. It’s an honour really, to be trusted with your art to deliver something that’s forever.
Motivational Nature
Isn’t nature inspirational? From grand, manicured gardens to the simplistic beauty of insects, there is motivation to be had basking in the peace of it all.
Forgiveness and Ego
I refreshed my podcast feed to find Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday most recent episode on Forgiveness at the top of the list. The following episode was all about Ego. Both were brought to my ears by the Law of Attraction, working at its best.
What We’re Called To Do
Saturday 9 January 2021. I had a late call up from Getty Images to cover the Tennis Australia announcement at Memorial Drive. During the press conference as I was photographing South Australia’s Chief Public Health Officer Professor Nicola Spurrier, something happened that caused me to put the camera down.
About No. 1
This blog post is just some quick, honest words. It’s my attempt at writing in a voice I’d more likely use in a 15 minute scribble in my journal. It’s far from perfect but it’s where I’m at so this is what I’m sharing.
Who’s Boss?
Yesterday I returned to work from my Christmas holiday break. Before I’d even arrived, I met a new boss.
Meditation or Bust
It’s time to introduce a few minutes of daily meditation. At the very least with a greater sense of calm, my mouth will be slower to follow my mind’s instruction to overreact, or say what I think, or both.
