What Life is For

I used to stumble and fall
Depressions so deep I heard another life call
Anxiety filled days and none so sure
As those where I pondered what life is for
I fell and stumbled and I fell again
Year after year til decades did bend
I fell and stumbled til I could fall no more
My limit was reached, my heart so raw
Have you known the weight of having had ‘enough’?
How rewarding the feeling to rid of your ‘stuff’?
Let go, let go, let your heart be a canvas
The world is your oyster, your mind is an atlas
Where would you be in your heart’s true desire?
Believe if you will, the soul takes you higher
Burn your light brightly, no troubles can deny you
To honour your soul and do what inspires you
